Naomi M. Holmes, 68, of the 6800 block of Fordwick Drive, died Sept. 7, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Holmes, the widow of Dillon Thomas Holmes II, was a retired secretary from the Department of Defense. She was also a prominent real estate investor in the Willoughby area. She was born in Conway, S.C. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and past vice president of Meadowbrook Terrace Civic League.
Survivors include one daughter, Rechelle Gatha Holmes; one son, Alan Michael Holmes; two sisters, Claudia Lewis and Lucy Vivian Hudson, both of Conway; one grandchild, Dillon Thomas O'Sullivan; one nephew, Jimmie Earl Hudson, and Gina Nicole Hudson, and their children, Nicole and Josuha Hudson.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Junipher Bay Baptist Church Cemetery in Conway. The family will be at the funeral home from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today.
