Annie M. Hunter, 78, of the first block of Manley St., died Sept. 4, 1995, in her home in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Hunter, the widow of Willie Lee Hunter, was born in Enfield, N.C. She was a member and actively involved in the ministries of Fairwood Agape Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include two daughters, Ethel Ferebee and Velma Sherrod, both of Portsmouth; two sons, Monte Hunter and Willie Edward Hunter, both of Portsmouth; one sister, Mabel Harding of Portsmouth; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Fairwood Agape Baptist Church, by the Rev. Robert Baker Sr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home began Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. today.
