George Stephanopoulos got a mild rebuke from his boss Friday after being charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving with an expired license.
President Clinton ``fully expects George to get his license renewed,'' said White House press secretary Mike McCurry.
Stephanopoulos, 34, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, accused of crunching the fender of the parked car in front of him as he pulled out of a parking space in front of a Georgetown restaurant.
The White House aide was was taken to a police station, booked and released after several hours. by CNB
