School bus transportation for Princess Anne High School has been revised due to the fire. The following information is provided to explain the new transportation schedules. Classes begin Tuesday at Celebration Station and in portables at the Princess Anne campus.
The routes that were published in the August 27 edition of the Beacon remain intact, except for students in the walking zones, who will now receive bus service.
To accommodate the shuttle between Princess Anne High School and Celebration Station, the first pick-up times for all routes have been moved up by 15 minutes. Adjustments will be made after the first day where appropriate.
Morning buses providing shuttle transportation to the Tech Center, Career Development Center, Center for Effective Learning or Literacy Center will leave from Celebration Station at 7:20 a.m. Students in these programs should ride the regular neighborhood bus to Celebration Station.
The mid-day bus service for the Tech Center and Career Development Center will remain unchanged.
The bus route below is for the students in the Pembroke Manor walking zone.
Bus 360 (Pembroke Manor walking zone) Starts at 6:55 a.m. Liberty Bell Road and South Hession Road, Constitution Drive and Articles Lane, Constitution Drive and Hinsdale Street, Constitution Drive and John Jay Lane, Constitution Drive and William Pitt Lane, King George Road and Jeanne Street, Jeanne Street and Constitution Drive.
Bus 561 (Thalia Drive area walking zone) - Thalia Drive and Edinburgh Drive (only one stop). Students should be at this stop by 7 a.m. the first day.
Bus 64 (Windsor Oaks) - Starts at 7 a.m. Forest Glen Road and Brentwater Road, Turtle Cove Road and Windsor Gate Road, Windsor Gate Road and Old Post Road.
Bus 86 (Princess Anne Plaza) - Starts at 7 a.m. Dillon Drive and Maverick Street, Dillon Drive and Lineberry Road, Dillon Drive and Corvette Lane, Silina Drive and Corvette Lane, Appian Avenue and Stancil Street.
Bus 112 (Windsor Oaks West) - Starts at 7 a.m. 4015 Frances Lee Drive, Lord Byron Drive and Masefield Circle, Shoreline Drive and Shoreline Circle.
Bus 138 (Windsor Woods) - Starts at 7 a.m. South Plaza Trail and Old Forge Road, Old Forge Road and Waterside Court, Old Forge Road and Piney Ridge Road, Piney Ridge Road and Windsor Gate Place, Windsor Gate Road and South Plaza Trail.
Bus 152 (Princess Anne Plaza) - Starts at 7 a.m. Hilber Street and Waverly Drive, Victoria Drive and Wayne Street, Victoria Drive and Maverick Street.
Bus 177 (Princess Anne Plaza-South Lynnhaven Road) - Starts at 7 a.m. Silina Drive and Garrison Place, South Lynnhaven Road and Huntington Apartments, South Lynnhaven Road and Saint Albons Commons, South Lynnhaven Road and Courtview Drive, Gimbert Drive and Robert Jackson Drive.
