Willie Gene Hawkins, 62, of the 1000 block of Godfrey Ave., died Sept. 8, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Hawkins was born in Virginia Beach and was the son of the late James Hawkins and Berline Banks Hawkins. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Ola Bowman Hawkins; a sister, Berline Brown; a brother, Wilber Hawkins; an aunt, Rosa Spellman; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Overton Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, and at other times at 619 New York Ave., Norfolk, 622-5039.
