Miss Helen Elizabeth Brett, 89, of the 200 block of South 4th St., died Sept. 9, 1995, in Guardian Care Nursing Home, Ahoskie.
Miss Brett was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, Como, N.C., and was a native of Hertford County, N.C.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Thelma Britt of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Murfreesboro United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Charles H. Hutchinson. Burial will be in Black Jack Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, from 7 to 8 p.m. today, and at other times at the home of Jerry W. Brett, 103 Nadine St., Murfreesboro. Memorial donations may be made to Murfreesboro United Methodist Church, High Street, Murfreesboro, N.C. 27855.
