Alison Athern Gadrow Sandy, 59, of the 5300 block of Roslyn Drive, died Sept. 8, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Sandy, a Presbyterian, was born in Providence, R.I. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Bill Sandy Jr.; one son, William Russell Sandy and his wife, Anita Kay Sandy, of Norfolk; and three grandchildren, Gregory, Nichole and Brandon.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Warren Wilson. Entombment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
