Janie Vick Garriss, 91, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995, in Halifex Memorial Hospital, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
She was the widow of J. Frank Garriss of Conway, and she was a member of Conway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda, and her husband, Walter B. Gray Jr. of Virginia Beach; one sister, Elizabeth V. Barrett of Conway; three grandchildren, Tiffany Annette, Kevin, and Beverly Gray, all of Virginia Beach; and one great-granddaughter, Amber Lee Gray, also of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Conway Baptist Church by the Rev. James Hester. Burial will follow in Conway Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the home of Mrs. Garriss, East Main Street, Conway. Bridgers Funeral Home in charge.
