Dale W. Henderson, 62, of the 400 block of Appian Ave., died Sept. 8, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Henderson, the widower of Margaret Ann Henderson, was a retired master chief. He served the U.S. Navy for 34 years and retired in 1987. He was born in Lapeer, Mich., and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Survivors include one daughter, Tara A. Henderson of Capital Heights, Md.; three sons, Daniel P. Henderson and Dale P. Henderson, both of Virginia Beach, Michael W. Henderson of Chesapeake.; two sisters, Charlene J. Henderson of Ann Arbor, Mich., Sherrie B. Henderson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Roy A. Henderson of Lapeer; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
