Estella Martin Vass, 69, of the 3100 block of Sir Tristram Court, died of natural causes Sept. 7, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Vass, the widow of Willie Lee Vass, was a housewife. She was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ Disciples, Pantogo, N.C. She was a former Sunday School teacher and choir member.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley A. Vass of Bronx, N.Y., Rosia Whitten of Norfolk, Vera Vass Jones of Chesapeake; two sons, Wilbert Russell and Samuel L. Vass, both of Norfolk; two sons-in-law, William A. Jones of Chesapeake and Calvin Whitten of Norfolk; a host of grand- and great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Hattie King.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Macedonia Church, Pantogo, by Elder Lindberg White and Assistance Elder Cleveon Bryant Sr. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Randolph Funeral Home, Washington, N.C., in charge.
