Carolyn Jean Springer, 64, of the 600 block of 6th St. died Sept. 7, 1995, in North Dakota. She was a native of Everett, Mass.
She is survived by her husband, Orville E. Springer; one daughter, Judith A. Norwood of Chesapeake; two sisters, Geraldine Styles of Chesapeake, Yvonne Russo of Pensacola, Fla.; and one granddaughter, Carolyn Norwood; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Father Joseph Slowik. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
