William Aubrey Savage, 92, passed away on Sept. 6, 1995, at Obici Hospital.
He was born in Whaleyville, Va., on May 18, 1903. His wife preceded him in death on Aug. 16, 1976. He is survived by four of his five children; two sisters, Virginia S. Small of Portsmouth and Martha S. Foster of Windsor, with whom he lived during the past four years; fifteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service at Antioch Christian Church, 23011 Antioch Rd., Windsor, Va. on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 3 p.m.
His last request was honored as his body was donated to medical science. Any expression of sympathy can be sent to the Windsor Rescue Squad.
