Maude Elliott Brunson, 94, of 111 E. Church St., died early Monday morning, Sept. 11, 1995, in Britthaven Nursing Home, Edenton.
Mrs. Brunson was born in Chowan County. The daughter of the late John Norfleet and Mrs. Ina Stokley Elliott, she was a retired sales clerk with Belk-Tylers Dept. Store in Edenton. She was a member of Edenton Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Joyce B. Harrell of Edenton; one son, William Corry Brunson Jr. of San Clemente, Calif.; one brother, William S. Elliott of Edenton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. James Hyatt. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at the home of her daughter, 602 E. Church St., Edenton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edenton-Chowan Rescue Squad.
