C.Y. ``Pete'' Bunting, 79, of the 4000 block of Oak Drive, died Sept. 11, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a retired supervisor/boilmaker at Shop 41, Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was also U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Wiley C. Bunting and Gary W. Bunting, both of Portsmouth; and two grandsons, David J. Bunting and Brian W. Bunting.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. Burial is in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
