Everyone agrees that Congress must find ways in which to reduce the national debt. However, it seems that the budget cuts being considered most affect educational programs and programs which concern human needs (Medicare, Social Security and various social programs).
I have read nothing about any reduction in funds allocated for such things as the Blue Angels or any of the perks provided to members of Congress. It appears to me that money spent in these areas could be put to better use.
