C.Y. ``Pete'' Bunting, 79, of the 4000 block of Oak Drive, died Sept. 11, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a retired supervisor/boilermaker at Shop 41, Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was also U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel T. Bunting; two sons, Wiley C. Bunting and Gary W. Bunting, both of Portsmouth; and two grandsons, David J. Bunting and Brian W. Bunting.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. Burial is in Olive Branch Cemetery.
