Annie Mae Brown, of the 1200 block of St. Brides Road West, died Sept. 10, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a retired checker for Norfolk Linen Service. She worked there several years and had been retired for four years. She was born in Chesapeake, and was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include three sisters, Julia B. Grasty of Norfolk, Mary B. Johnson and Gladys Brown, both of Chesapeake; one brother, Deacon Roland B. Brown of Chesapeake; one sister-in-law, Lurice P. Brown of Chesapeake; one brother-in-law, Cassell Grasty of Norfolk; four nephews, Rev. Roland Brown Jr., Roy Brown Sr., Joseph Brown, all of Chesapeake, Ronnie Brown of Norfolk; two nieces, Shirley B. Watson of Chesapeake, Carlotta Brown of Cape Charles, Va.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Willow Grove Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Roland Brown Jr. and Pastor Rev. Kevin White. Burial will be in Williow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will assemble at 1236 West St. Brides Road at 11 a.m. Chatman Funeral Home, Norfolk, in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
