Earl S."Syd" DuVal Jr., 48, owner of All Seasons Pest Control, died Sept. 11, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. DuVal was born in Virginia Beach. He was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. Mr. DuVal was a graduate of Hargrave Military Academy and a gradute of Virginia Wesleyan College. Mr. DuVal was a life member and past captain of Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad 14 for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Brinkley DuVal of Virginia Beach; his mother, Grace Mason DuVal of Virginia Beach; two sons, Timothy Robert DuVal and Troy Anthony DuVal, both of Coral Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Ann Marie Holland of Norfolk.
A church service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 1995, at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Clark Mandigo and the Rev. John F. Shappell. Burial will be at Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
