Annie Mary Milteer, 93, of the 800 block of South Main St., died Sept. 10, 1995, in Courtland Health Care Center.
She was a native of Nansemond County, Va., and was a retired supervisor from South Quay Peanut Company. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Franklin, Va., where she served on the Senior Usher Board and Sea Vamp Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary D. Skinner of Suffolk, Virginia S. Darden of Courtland; one sister, Eva Hawkins of Suffolk; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Oak Grove Baptist Church, by the Rev. Pembroke D. Hill. Burial will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dempsey, 10754 Camp Pond Road, Suffolk. Remains will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Wm. M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home in charge.
