Martha Alice Maring, 67, of the 1700 block of Hoover St., died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was the daughter of the late John and Letha Maring. Hope House Foundation has supported her in her personal goals of living independently since 1979.
Survivors include a sister, Ms. Virginia M. Johnson of Miller, Ind.; and a brother, Wallace Maring of McAllen, Texas.
The family will be at the home of her nephew, Gregory Johnson, 1029 Erie St., Chesapeake, at 2 p.m. today. Twiford Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, in charge.
