Joseph Marcley Minnick, 5 and a half months, died Sept. 8, 1995, in Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
He was born in Norfolk. Survivors include his parents, Christie Marcley and Robert B. Minnick, both of Currituck; paternal grandfather, C. Douglas Minnick of Nokesville, Va. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Vincent R. and Joanna L. Marcley.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the home of Robert Minnick and Christie Marcley, Currituck, by the Rev. Frank Jennings. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tidewater Downs Syndrome Association, 828 Roves Lane, Virginia Beach, Va. 23464.
