Breaking and entering, 8200 block Canterbury Crest Lane, Aug. 24, someone cut the telephone lines to a kitchen and bedroom.
Breaking and entering, Burbage Drive, Aug. 28., someone entered a trailer by breaking a padlock. Two GE microwaves and a GE dishwasher were removed.
Grand larceny, 4300 block Crowdy Blvd., Aug. 30, someone removed a 14-cubic-foot Kenmore refrigerator valued at $400.
DISTRICT B
Breaking and entering, 5300 Godwin Blvd., Aug. 24, someone entered a residence through an unsecured rear door. Computer equipment, including a personal computer with dual floppy disk drives, CD-ROM drives, a color monitor, laser printer and scanner were removed. The total value is $17,000.
Grand larceny, 2000 block Nansemond Parkway, Aug. 24, a Emgloo air compressor, a Dewalt cordless screw gun, a 9.6-volt battery and a 12-volt battery were removed from the bed of an '85 Dodge Ram truck while it was parked at a construction site.
Motor vehicle theft, 2300 block Wilroy Road, Aug. 29, a dark gray, 4-door, Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera was removed from an employee parking area.

Breaking and entering, 300 block Hill St., Aug. 24, someone entered a residence by breaking the glass in a side-rear door. A Fisher stereo and a VCR were removed.
Grand larceny, 800 block North Main St., Aug. 24, someone removed the front two seats and rear spoiler from a 1992 Mazda MX6, which was in storage.
Petty larceny, 800 block West Constance Road, Aug. 25, someone entered an '89 Cadillac and removed a Motorola flip-open cellular phone.
Grand larceny, 200 block South Wellons St., Aug. 28, someone cut all four tires and removed a stereo/cassette player from a burgundy '81 Datsun 280ZX.
Petty larceny, 100 block Saratoga St., Aug. 28, someone removed a AM/FM stereo/cassette player from a beige '85 Chevrolet pickup truck.
Strong-arm robbery, 600 block West Constance Road, Aug. 28, a woman was approached by a man as she was getting out of her car. He knocked her down and took her purse.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Virginia Ham Drive, Aug. 24, someone entered a business by breaking open the rear door to the shipping area and breaking a lock.
Breaking and entering, 300 block North 4th St., Aug. 25, someone entered a residence and removed one 13'' color Magnavox TV and a Zenith VCR.
Tampering with vending machine, 1200 block White Marsh Road, Aug. 26, someone damaged three drink machines.
Grand larceny, 1200 block East Washington St., Aug. 26, someone entered a vehicle and removed a Sony walkman radio valued at $100, a jewelry box with assorted jewelry valued at $50 and assorted clothes.
Hit and run, 1000 block Lake Kennedy Drive, someone driving a green, 2-door '93 Lincoln ran off a roadway and struck a parked vehicle.
Petty larceny, Saratoga Street, , Aug. 30, someone removed a NECP cellular phone from a black travel bag.

Petty larceny, Glenn Haven Road, Aug. 25, a Motorola car phone was taken.
Grand larceny, 8400 block Robbie Road, Aug. 28, someone removed an alternator valued at $320 from a John Deere tractor while the vehicle was parked in a garage.
Felonious assault, 3100 block Indian Trail Road, Aug. 28, someone was struck on the neck and head with a stick or pipe when a man attempted to take his vehicle. The man was unable to sit up or stand. The attacker continued to assault another person, who sustained injuries to the face and was scratched and bitten on the arms.
Petty larceny, 6600 Holland Road, Aug. 30, someone removed a Poulan chain saw and a Sander Millers Fall from an unlocked shed.

Petty larceny, 100 block Forest Glen Drive, Aug. 28, someone removed a 12-volt battery from two school buses.

Detective E.C. Harris asks your help to find the persons
responsible for the armed robbery of a taxi driver.
On Aug. 23, the driver was dispatched to 213 Holladay St. When
the United Taxi Cab vehicle arrived, two black males approached.
When the driver attempted to back up to get away, one of the
suspects opened the door, held the driver at gunpoint and demanded
money. The weapon appeared to be a black .9mm, handgun. The
suspects received a small sum and left on bicycles, toward Liberty
Street.
One suspect was described as a light-skinned black male, 5 foot
9, 170 pounds and wearing blue shorts, a white T-shirt and a mask.
