George Anthony Bendzunas, 74, of the 2800 block of East Point Dr., died Sept. 12, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church and was a retired electronics technician of General Electric. Mr. Bendzunas was a native of Oswego, N.Y. and was a World War II veteran. He was a Sargeant in the Army Air Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Marie Bendzunas; two daughters, Jane Moss of Chesapeake, Christine Fulcher of Chesapeake; four sons, Stephen Bendzunas of Plymouth, Ind., Paul Bendzunas of Comer, Ga., Robert Bendzunas of Virginia Beach, and John Bendzunas of Aurora, Ill.; one sister, Jenny Mines of Oswego, N.Y., and 14 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted 7:30 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Won Un in Loving Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Jolliff United Methodist Church.
