Gina Carlson Arbogast, 28, formerly of Charlottesville, departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 10, 1995.
Born in Waynesboro on Feb. 10, 1967, she was the daughter of Freddie C. and Catherine Simmons Arbogast of Charlottesville.
Gina was a highly regarded LPN with Sentara Health Care Centers of Norfolk, and was currently enrolled in the School of Surgical Technology at Norfolk General Hospital. She was a graduate of Albemarle High School, and the CATEC/Martha Jefferson School of Nursing Program. She was a member of the Peninsula SkyDivers and was working toward her Class A SkyDiving License at the time of the accident.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her sister, Wendy M. Arbogast of Charlottesville; her maternal grandmother, Beatrice Simmons of Staunton; and many other family members, friends, and colleagues who will cherish and honor her memory.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Gina Carlson Arbogast will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, at the Peace Lutheran Church of Charlottesville with the Rev. William Stewart officiating. The family will greet friends after the service.
