The Virginia Beach Jaycees are joining forces with the First Class Association of Oceana Naval Air Station's AIMD Avionics Division to clean up and rejuvenate the Flame of Hope located on Oceana Boulevard.
The clean-up will begin at 9 a.m. Friday. A wreath-laying ceremony and moment of silence will commence at noon in front of the memorial.
The clean-up and ceremony are open to the public.
