A commuter affiliate of Midway Airlines will start flying four flights a day between Norfolk International Airport and Midway's hub in Raleigh/Durham. The new service begins Oct. 15 and will be handled by Great Lakes Aviation Ltd., operating as Midway Connection. Great Lakes will employ 30-passenger turboprop planes in the service. The service will provide connections to Midway flights to 15 U.S. destinations. Since moving its headquarters to Raleigh from Chicago, Midway has taken over much of American Airlines' old service at the Raleigh/Durham airport. The new service will also offer connections to five destinations still served by American out of Raleigh/Durham, including London. (Staff) by CNB
