The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board on Monday refused to return the liquor license of the Virginia Beach night club Mr. Magic's.
In August, ABC agents seized the license. The club later appealed in Virginia Beach Circuit Court. On Sept. 1, the court sent the case to the ABC Board for a final ruling.
ABC officials charged owners of the Virginia Beach club with failing to keep accurate and complete records, failing to maintain the proper ratio of food to alcoholic beverages, maintaining a noisy or disorderly establishment and failing to maintain peace and good order. The club also had been cited by the city as a public nuisance. by CNB
