Lucinda R. Williams, of the 800 block of East Indian River Road, died Sept. 13, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Williams, the widow of Leroy Williams, was born in Franklin, Va. She was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, and was deaconess, missionary, and willing worker.
Survivors include seven daughters, Rev. Inez Dunston, Elizabeth Peede, Barbara Gatling, Gloria Parker, Irma Williams, and Alma Williams, all of Norfolk; two sons, Raymond Whitaker and Norman Williams, both of Norfolk; a grandson, Pernell ``Sweet Pea'' Whitaker; 53 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Metropolitan AMEZ Church, by the Rev. Richard Councill. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
