Richard Thomas ``BoBo'' Shepherd Sr., of the 2300 block of Shoop Ave., died Sept. 13, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Shepherd, a welder for Colonas Shipyard, was born in Portsmouth. He was a member of Garden of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. (NU)3.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Anne Shepherd; three daughters, Tammy Shepherd, Cheryl Thorpe, Anita Shepherd, all of Norfolk; two sons, Keith Blow, Richard Thomas Shepherd Jr., both of Norfolk; his father, Joseph T. Bishop Sr. of Baltimore, Md.; five sisters, Alice Alston of Philadelphia, Pa., Phyllis Vaughan of Norfolk, Beverly Kay of Chesapeake, Vanessa Knight of Norfolk, Avis Bishop of Chesapeake; two brothers, Joseph T. Bishop Jr. of Baltimore, and Ronald M. Bishop of Chesapeake; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Garden of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. (NU)3, by Elder Dan White. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing Sunday at 3 p.m. The remains will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Monday. The family will assemble at the residence at noon Monday for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
