Clifton H. Leatherbury Jr., 70, died Sept. 12, 1995, in Eastville, Va.
Mr. Leatherbury was a retired aeronautical engineer. He was a native of Machipongo, Va., and was a member of American Assoc. of Aeronautical Engineers. He was also a member of the Potomac Rose Society and he was past president of The Washington Rhododendron Society River Bend Country Club, Great Falls, Va. He was a graduate of University of Virginia, where he received a BS in Engineering. He was also a graduate of Georgia Technological Institute, where he received his Masters in Aeronautical Engineering.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Fieldner Leatherbury of McLean; two daughters, Linda Leatherbury of Augusta, Ga., and Catherine Sue Leatherbury of McLean; two sons, Thomas Fieldner Leatherbury of McLean and Tracy Bell Leatherbury of McLean; one sister, Mildred Leatherbury Gompf of Los Angeles, Calif.; and grandchildren, Jennifer Nicole Brundo and Alex Frederick Brundo of Augusta.
A graveside service will be conducted today at 4 p.m. by the Rev. Harry Crandall in Hungars Episcopal Church Cemetery, Bridgetown, Va. Fox and James Funeral Home, Eastville, in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to Hungars Episcopal Church in care of Mrs. Frank McCraw, P.O. Box 208, Franktown, Va. 23354.
