Mary C. Fennell, of the 900 block of Kenton Ave., died Sept. 13, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was born in North Carolina and was the widow of Taft Fennell. She was self-employed.
Mrs. Fennell is survived by four sisters, Leona Malbon of Norfolk, Pearl Fennell of Fayetteville, N.C., Christine Taylor of Mattapan, Mass., and Maralouise Fletcher of Fayetteville, N.C.; nephew and niece Johnnie and Joyce Malborn Jr. of Norfolk; her precious, Joyvah Malbon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in Sampson County St. James Disciples Church. Burial is in West Family Cemetery. The body will be sent to Brock and Worley Funeral Home, Clinton, N.C. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
