Barbara Casey Gunn, 70, died Sept. 13, 1995, in her residence.
She was a native of East Millinocket, Maine, and she was a Catholic. Mrs. Gunn was a devoted wife and mother. She was the retired co-owner of an antique shop, ``Happiness Is.'' She was also a volunteer with Meals on Wheels; a manager of Maternity Nook; past president of Navy Officers Wives Clubs; and a member of Navy Relief Society.
She is survived by her husband, Commander Max C. Gunn USN (Ret); one daughter, Susan Madsen of Port Heuneme, Calif.; three sons and daughters-in-law, M. Geoffrey Gunn and Linda of Portsmouth, N.H., Bradford Gunn and Alysen of London, England, and Timothy Gunn and Dawn of Manassas, Va.; two sons, Stephen Gunn of Rosemeade, Calif, and Patrick Gunn of Virginia Beach; one son-in-law, Anthony Fentress of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; one sister, Phyliss McKeough of Portland, Maine; 16 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Megan Gunn Fentress.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday by Father Edward L. Richardson in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel.
