Rev. Earlie E. Towe, 75, died Sept. 11, 1995.
He was born in Norfolk County, Va. He was a minister for 40 years. He recently retired from Mt. Nebo Baptist Church of Barhamsville in New Kent County. He served in the military during World War II. He received his education from Tidewater Community College, Rappahannock Community College, American Bible College, and Surety Real Estate School.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Towe; seven daughters, Jeanette, Jackie, Joyce, Geraldine, Carolyn, Sylvia, and Clara; three sons, Earlie Jr., Walter, and Josephus; 22 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the J.K. Redmond Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, and services at noon Monday in New Oak Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
