Charlie R. Fulcher, 87, of the 4200 block of Griffin St., died Sept. 14, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Fulcher, the widower of Ruth Richards Fulcher, was a native of Whaleshead, N.C. He was a retired machinist from Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include one son, Carl R. Fulcher of Norfolk; one sister, Carnie Stewart of Norfolk; two brothers, Lansing L. Fulcher of Matthews, Va., and Stanford L. Fulcher of Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by the Rev. G.W. Harley. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
