Kelvin B. Robinson, 19, of the 1500 block of County St., died Sept. 12, 1995, in Norfolk.
He was a native of Florence, Ala.
Mr. Robinson is survived by two godchildren, Devonte Reed and Dennis Reed Jr. of Portsmouth; mother, Kathy Robinson of Portsmouth; father, Henderson Andrews of Houston, Texas; one sister, Tinika Robinson of Portsmouth; a special friend, Kimberly Jackson of Portsmouth; grandfather, Richard Robinson; one brother, Demarcus Robinson of Portsmouth; eight uncles, Herbert L. Robinson, Richard Robinson, John Redder, Dale Thompson, Shell Ingram, Sonny Andrews, Ellmus Andrews, all of Florence, Ala., and Joseph Andrews, of Atlanta; godmother, Janice Green of Suffolk; godfather, Lamar Norman, of Chesapeake; six aunts, Ada Redder, Laura Thompson, Louvina Ingram, Rebecca Williams, Dorothy Lewis, Brenda Barnett, all of Florence, Ala.; two great-aunts, Queen Esther Ricks and Carrie Robinson, both of Leighton, Ala.; and and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Monday by Dr. T.M. Steele in New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville, Portsmouth. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing will be Sunday 2 to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at 611 Henderson St., Portsmouth, at 11:15 a.m. for the procession to the church. Serenity Funeral Home, Portsmouth, in charge.
