LEROY WHITE JR.

Leroy White Jr., of the 1300 block of Morris Ave., died Sept. 12, 1995, in Harlem Hospital, Manhattan, N.Y.

He was a native of Portsmouth and was a laborer in the Garment District.

He is survived by his wife, Cecelia White; one daughter, Tonya White of Florida; one son, Michael White of the Bronx; one step-son of the Bronx; mother, Marion White Mozee of Portsmouth; one sister, Mary E. Wilder of Portsmouth; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday by the Rev. D.A. Peace in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday. The family will be at the home of his mother, 1501 Lansing Ave., Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service.
