Yollandia M. Robbins, 84, of the 2300 block of Keller Ave., died Sept. 12, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Memorial.
She worked as a child-care director for Norfolk Community Hospital for 10 years and was a native of Norfolk. She was the widow of Willie Robbins. Mrs. Robbins was a member of Greater Metropolitan A.M.E. on Springfield Avenue, where she was a member of the deaconess board and was also involved as a Sunday School teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph C. and Alice J. Brown.
She is survived by one sister, Alice Brown Welch of Norfolk; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nieces; three nephews; and a host of cousins.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Monday by the Rev. Richard A. Councill in Greater Metropolitan A.M.E., 1710 Springfield Ave. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will assemble at 2309 Keller Ave., Norfolk. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
