ELLA L. PERSON

Ella Louise Person, of the 800 block of Grayson St., died Sept. 13, 1995, in a local hospital.

She was a retired nurse and was a native of Chesapeake. She was a member of First Baptist West Munden, Chesapeake, where she was a member of the senior usher board; Ladies Auxiliary; the Nurses Unit of the Church; senior choir; and the Hospitality Committee.

She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Vaughan, Louise L. Coston, both of Norfolk, and Brenda L. Johnson of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Elsie McKinney, of Edgewater, Md., and Gladys Graves, of Hampton, Va.; one brother, Edward L. Person, of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday by Dr. John L. Ashby in First Baptist West Munden, Chesapeake. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin Monday 11 a.m. at Chatman Funeral Home, Norfolk.
