BLANCHE H. BLOCK

Blanche H. Block, 78, of the 500 block of Roland Drive, died Sept. 15, 1995, in Baton Rouge, La.

Mrs. Block, a native of Jackson, La., was the widow of Morris H. Block and was a retired clerk with the Norfolk Naval Base.

Survivors include a daughter, Elka M. Block of Arlington, Mass.; two sons, Hal E. Block of Chesapeake and Tilton L. Block of Frankfort, Ill.; two sisters, Mabel McGraw of Pride, La., and Naoma Turner of Baton Rouge, La.; and one grandson, Matthew Block of Frankfort, Ill.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in B'Nai Israel Cemetery by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. The family will receive friends at 298 Suburban Parkway, Norfolk.
