Marion V. Eckert, 86, died Sept. 16, 1995. He was a native of Harrisburg, Pa., and lived in Norfolk since 1936.
He retired in 1968 after 32 years in government service. He was a master mechanic and process division superintendent of the Overhaul & Repair Department, Naval Air Rework Facility.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte H. Eckert; one son, Robert V. Eckert and daughter-in-law, Susan Ann Eckert, of Atlanta, Ga.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 1995, by Pastor Daniel H. Quiram in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Norfolk.
