In my experience, people enjoy joshing their clergy friends about the weather. It is all in good fun.
I learned soon after I was ordained that taking credit for the good weather meant taking the blame for the not-so-good. The wisest course was taken by a Presbyterian clergy friend who, when asked to make arrangements for the weather, replied, ``Sorry. I'm in sales, not management.''
