AUGUSTA A. HALL

Elder Augusta A. Hall, 83, of the 200 block of Thomas St., died Sept. 15, 1995, in his home after a short illness.

Elder Hall was a native of Kenansville, N.C. He was the son of the late Ed and Ada Hall and was preceded in death by his wife, Mother Riste Belle Hall.

He was an employee of Union Camp Corporation for 30 years. He was pastor and founder of Mt. Olive Holiness Church and National Evangelist of the Apostolic Faith Church of God Live On.

Survivors include four sons, Elder Samuel A. Hall of Franklin, Willie James Hall of Riverhead, N.Y., Wilbert Winbush of Philadelphia, Pa., and Charles Winbush of Brooklyn, N.Y.; five daughters, Ada Naomi Hall of Franklin, Georgia Hall-Paulin of Philadelphia, and Elsie Hamilton of Philadelphia; two granddaughters that he reared, Amy Baker and Andrea G. Hall, both of Franklin; brother-in-law, Timothy Webster of Philadelphia; three godchildren, Bishop John W. Barber, Evona Watson and Shipreta Robinson; two sisters, Maggie Hall of Lakewood, N.J., and Bertha Hall Webster of Philadelphia; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Sept. 20, 1995, at 1 p.m. in Mt. Olive Holiness Church, Bishop Richard H. Cross officiating. A wake will be held in Mt. Olive Holiness Church from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight, Bishop John Barber officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home rendering professional services.
