Emma G. Snow, 80, of the 2400 block of Masi St., died Sept. 15, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General.
Mrs. Snow, the widow of Oscar D. Snow, was a retired private duty nurse. She was born in Raeford, N.C., and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk, female usher board, missionary board, and Eliza Ann Coppage Bible Class.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucille Chambers of Norfolk, Sylvia William of Virginia Beach; one son, Charles E. Hinton of Norfolk; one stepson, Roy Hinton of Norfolk; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Shiloh Baptist Church, by the Rev. Dr. John H. Foster. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the home. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Thursday. There will be a wake from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Chapel. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
