CRASH SLOWS TRAFFIC

An overturned truck blocked two westbound lanes of Interstate 264 near Ballentine Boulevard Monday, tying up traffic for several hours, police said.

State police said two trucks collided at 2 p.m. when one slowed for merging traffic and was struck in the rear by the second truck.

Mark Ventura, 30, of Norfolk, the driver of the second truck, was treated at a hospital for minor injures. The driver of the first truck, whose name wasn't released, wasn't hurt. Ventura was charged with reckless driving and not wearing a seatbelt, police said.
