CRIME REPORT - SUFFOLK

DISTRICT A

Breaking and entering, 6400 block Town Point Road, Aug. 31, someone entered a residence by kicking in the front door, which had been locked with a dead bolt and knob lock. Several items were disturbed, but nothing was removed.

Lost/Stolen, 4200 block Pughsville Road, Sept. 1, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from a vehicle.

Breaking and entering, 6300 block Town Point Road, Sept. 3, someone entered a residence by removing the bathroom window. A wallet containing $86, driver's license and various I.D.s, and a purse containing $100, driver's license, a lady's gold Seiko watch and various I.D.s were removed.

Breaking and entering, 6000 block Camellia Drive, Sept. 3, someone entered a residence by breaking a side window. A Sega Genesis game and two video game cartridges were removed.

Breaking and entering, 6500 Skeet Road, Sept. 5, someone cut the lock of a trailer and removed an Emglo air compressor valued at $1,500, a steel pipe saw valued at $850, two red air hoses valued at $100 each, two 12-inch pipe wrenches valued at $20 each, and one 24-inch pipe wrench valued at $40.

Breaking and entering, 6800 block Burbage Drive, Sept. 5, someone used a key to enter a trailer and remove a Yamaha 4000 watt generator valued at $1,600 and a K&E level tripod valued at $1,500. Brass pipes and plugs valued at $500 were also removed.

Breaking and entering, 6800 block Burbage Drive, Sept. 5, someone cut the lock off a trailer and removed $800 worth of assorted copper pipes and fittings.

Forgery, 3700 block Bridge Road, Sept. 5, someone removed a check for $40 and cashed it.

DISTRICT B

Breaking and entering, 1900 block Nansemond Parkway, Sept. 1, someone entered a residence by opening a rear door. Two color TVs, a 19-inch and a 13-inch, were removed.

Grand larceny, 4400 block Winona Trail, Sept. 2, someone entered a garage and removed two boxes of hand tools valued at $1,000.

Grand larceny, 300 block Kensington Boulevard, Sept. 5, someone removed a one-half carat solitaire diamond ring valued at $2,500 and a gold ring valued at $60.

DISTRICT C

Breaking and entering, 200 block North Main Street, Aug. 31, someone entered a church by breaking out a basement window. A Panasonic microwave oven and a stereo were removed.

Breaking and entering, 700 block North Main Street, Aug. 31, a group broke in the rear wall of a building to enter a restaurant. The jukebox and pool table were broken into, and a coin box was removed. $180 was taken from a file cabinet.

Robbery, Ashley Avenue, Sept. 2, someone reports that he was assaulted by a group who struck him with a pipe and removed $75.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Church Street, Sept. 4, someone entered a house by kicking in the front and back doors. A 24-inch color TV was removed.

Petty larceny, 300 block Boat Street, Sept. 4, someone removed three bicycles, valued at $75 each, from a back yard.

Breaking and entering, 200 block South Saratoga Street, Sept. 4, someone entered a business by pushing open a garage door. An envelope containing about $125 was removed.

Unauthorized use, 100 block St. James Avenue., Sept. 4, someone took a vehicle without permission.

Lost/stolen, 2300 block Godwin Boulevard, Sept. 5, someone reports a Virginia state dealer tag lost or stolen from a vehicle.

DISTRICT D

Breaking and entering, 300 block South Main Street, Aug. 31, someone entered a residence through an unsecured door. Two bicycles were removed.

Petty larceny, 100 block Oakdale Terrace, Aug. 31, someone removed a rear Virginia license plate from a vehicle.

Vandalism, 500 block Wekiva Avenue, Sept. 1., someone was observed breaking a rear window of a truck with a cinder block, causing $900 in damages.

Petty larceny, 1200 block Gray Court, Sept. 1, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed Virginia state inspection sticker.

Breaking and entering, Magnolia Lakes and Cottonwood, Sept. 2, someone entered a residence by prying open a locked rear door. A Panasonic VHS camcorder, a pair of gold earrings and a book of checks from First Union Bank were removed.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Morgan Street, Sept. 3, someone broke into a house by tearing the screen out of a bedroom window. Five compact disks valued at $15 each and a Panasonic CD boom box valued at $277 were removed.

Petty larceny, 600 block Kinsey Lane, Sept. 4, someone removed a Virginia state inspection sticker from a vehicle.

DISTRICT E

Breaking and entering, 1500 block Holland Road, Sept. 3, someone entered a business through a back window with a missing pane. An undetermined amount of cash was removed.

Petty larceny, 8900 block South Quay Road, Sept. 5, someone paid to pump $5 worth of gas but pumped out $8.10.

DISTRICT F

Lost/stolen, 5800 block Whaleyville Boulevard, Sept. 5, someone reports his city decal lost or stolen from his vehicle.

Breaking and entering, 5600 block Mineral Spring Road, Sept. 5, someone entered a residence and removed a diamond cluster ring valued at $2,500, a gold wedding band with a diamond valued at $1,500 and a gold Rolex watch valued at $500. by CNB
