Marika T. Paphitis, 70, of the 400 block of Kingsley Lane, died Sept. 19, 1995, at her home.
Mrs. Paphitis was a native of Philadelphia, Pa. She was the widow of Nick S. Paphitis. She was a member of Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Norfolk, and was a member of the Cretan Society Omalos.
Survivors include one son, Chris N. Paphitis and his wife, Sabrina, of Goldsboro, N.C.; one sister, Pauline T. Photinos of Norfolk; a niece, Stassa Michael of Virginia Beach; and five grandchildren, Cindy Thomas, Nick Paphitis, Kristen Paphitis, Jayson Hudgins and Andrew Paphitis.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 1995, at Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation by Father Savas Constantinou, Father Demetrios N. Kehagias, and Father Charles Goumenis. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Trisagion service will be held at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, at 7 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, 7220 Granby St., Norfolk, Va. 23505.
