Vivian King Shea, 80, of the 2000 block of Leckie St., died Sept. 20, 1995, after a long illness.
Mrs. Shea, a native of Portsmouth, was the widow of Vincent T. Shea Sr. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Maude Bailey Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her four children, Vincent T. Shea Jr. of Franklin; Joanne Shea Gough of Portsmouth; Evelyn Shea Huey of Graham, N.C.; and Edward N. ``Butch'' Shea of Portsmouth; a brother, Norwood King of Portsmouth; 12 grandchildren, Suzy Williams, Cathy Burgess, Julie Smiley, Cindy Shea, Teresa Bowers, David Gough Jr., Natalie Gough, Billy Compton, Cara Compton, Kelly Compton, Andrew Shea, and Stacy Shea; six great-grandchildren, Ryan Burgess, Zachary Burgess, Olivia Williams, Danielle Williams, Jessica Bowers, and Donnie Bowers.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church, London Blvd., Portsmouth, by the Rev. Philip J. Parker. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, and at other times at 2001 Leckie Street.
