MINNIE G. RICHEY

Minnie G. ``Mamma'' Richey, 88, of 7400 block of Hughart St., died Sept. 19, 1995 at her home. Mrs. Richey was born in Aliceville, Ala., and was the widow of Henry Richey.

Mrs. Richey served as a Sunday school teacher, senior choir member, usher board member and Deaconess of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was also involved with Titustown Floral Club and Titustown and Logan Park Senior Citizen Club.

Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Annie Brooks and Mrs. Hattie Dalton, both of Norfolk; one son, Troy Hinton of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and nephew Earl Gardner of Norfolk; as well as several other relatives and friends.

Dr. Ben Beamon will conduct a funeral service on Friday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Norfolk. The burial will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery. T.E. Cooke-Twilight Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be today from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 7441 Hughart St. on Friday at noon for the procession to the church.
