Thelma Leigh Wilson, 90, of the 300 block of Hospital Drive, died Sept. 19, 1995 in a Virginia Beach hospital.
She was a native of Wilmington, N.C. and the widow of William A. Wilson.
She is survived by one daughter, Azelle Leigh Shackelford of Virginia Beach; one daughter-in-law, Genevieve Leigh Dikeman of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, A. Vernon Leigh.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, in Olive Branch Cemetery, by the Rev. Kenneth Windham. The family will receive friends at the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
