William Evan Reese Sr. passed away on Sept. 19, 1995, in Norfolk.
He was born in 1912, in Baltimore, Md., and was a 1934 graduate of St. John's College, Annapolis. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Hissey Reese; beloved father of William Reese Jr. of Columbus, Neb., Dallas Cunningham DeBell of Denver, Colo., and Barbara Barranco of Virginia Beach; beloved grandfather of Robert Cunningham, Pamela Cunningham, Rhys Barranco Lutsky, Melissa Barranco, Ellen Reese and Kim Reese.
Mr. Reese was a lifelong Presbyterian and served as a Presbyterian elder for over 40 years. He was also a retired AT&T accountant.
A memorial service will be held at Kings Grant Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach, at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 1995. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a church.
